Let's congratulate Soror Faith R. Strong

Dr. Faith Strong has been appointed as Director of Data Management and Enrollment Services. In this role, she will be responsible for the performance measurement and reporting of data in areas such as student enrollment, student achievement, school performance, and research on district programs.


Dr. Strong previously served as the Director of Federal Programs in the Office of School Support in JPS. The areas she supported included ensuring that all students have equitable access to quality instruction through the use of Title I funding and ensuring compliance with all federal requirements.


Dr. Strong began her career in JPS 21 years ago. She has served as a teacher, literacy coach, Assistant Principal, Principal, and the district’s liaison for McKinney-Vento and Foster Care students. In each role, she worked diligently to meet the unique needs of all scholars. Dr. Strong earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Elementary Education from Jackson State University. She earned her Specialist and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Mississippi State University.


Dr. Strong will be a valuable asset to the district in her new position.
